today the marine biology classes went to atlanta, georgia to the aquarium! that place is HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!
they had beluga whales and 4 or 5 whale sharks! and a manta ray! some of the biggest animals in the oceans could be seen right next to you literaly.
we saw lots of sharks especialy and also got to see lots of little fish that were so brightly colored.
there was a area where you could go and touch some sting rays, sea urchins, anemones, starfish, horseshoe crabs, and shrimp. who knew that sting rays were slimy and really soft, i didnt for sure and creeped myself out the first time i touched it. we went to a 3-d movie as well, there was a fish that got tossed out at you (not really) but that was the part where everyone decided to look at me and watch as i nearly bailed out of the seat! i can admit to you people that i am a very twitchy person and cannot deal with things (whether they be 3-d or not)being thrown at me. My teacher wont let me live it down, ever...
there was this one sea turtle that had fun taunting me as to say "hahaha you have a sucky camera! bet you cant get a shot of me!"... so consequently i have only two pics of him (darn it i took like 20 pics of him and only 2 were good!)
being a twitchy person and the charter bus being so tall, every time we went under a bridge it scared me.
and i can explain, when the bus went under a bridge it looked like the top of the bus was going to be cut off. thats how tall it was people!
over all it was amazing! i saw lots of beautiful, some of the most amazing ocean predators, a couple of the most poisonous fish and a couple good (lot) scares.

We got a new kitty!!!!!!!!!!!
hes so cute, my parents went on a walk and saw him wandering around. when they got home they told me to come get him and i made sure that no one owned him but im still going to put an add for a lost cat.
hes really sweet and so i really want to keep him but i want to give him back to his family too.
oh well if he has a home ill give him back.
